The Chi-compromise value for non-transferable utility games

چکیده
We introduce a compromise value for non-transferable utility games: the Chi-compromise value. It is closely related to the Compromise value introduced by Borm, Keiding, McLean, Oortwijn, and Tijs (1992), to the MC-value introduced by Otten, Borm, Peleg, and Tijs (1998), and to the -value introduced by Berganti~ nos, CasasM endez, and V azquez-Brage (2000). The main di erence being that the maximal aspiration a player may have in the game is his maximal (among all coalitions) marginal contribution. We show that it is well de ned on the class of totally essential and non-level games. We propose an extensive-form game whose subgame perfect Nash equilibrium payo s coincide with the Chi-compromise value.

Fuzzy transferable-utility games: a weighted allocation and related results
By considering the supreme-utilities among fuzzy sets and the weights among participants simultaneously, we introduce the supreme-weighted value on fuzzy transferable-utility games. Further, we provide some equivalent relations to characterize the family of all solutions that admit a potential on weights. We also propose the dividend approach to provide alternative viewpoint for the potential a...
متن کاملThe τ-value for games on matroids
In the classical model of games with transferable utility one assumes that each subgroup of players can form and cooperate to obtain its value. However, we can think that in some situations this assumption is not realistic, that is, not all coalitions are feasible. This suggests that it is necessary to raise the whole question of generalizing the concept of transferable utility game, and theref...

Three values for non-transferable utility games – the Harsanyi NTU-value, the Shapley NTU-value, and the Maschler–Owen consistent NTU-value – are compared in a simple example.

The Maschler–Owen consistent value for non-transferable utility games is axiomatized, by means of a marginality axiom. JEL Classification: C7, D7
متن کاملA bargaining approach to the Owen value and the Nash solution with coalition structure1
The mechanism by Hart and Mas-Colell (1996) for non-transferable utility (NTU) games is generalized so that a coalition structure among players is taken into account. The new mechanism yields the Owen value for transferable utility (TU) games with coalition structure as well as the consistent value (Maschler and Owen 1989, 1992) for NTU games with trivial coalition structure. Furthermore, we ob...
